Along the West shore of Green Bay is the Historical West Shore Fishing Museum. To commemorate an achievement that took ten-years, numerous volunteers, and various donors; Is the newest boardwalk. Volunteer Noreen Johnson says, “the goals for this project were to have people enjoy the beauty of the Bayshore and we are also educating them on the environment.”
“We are also teaching about the history of the red rock,” says Johnson.
The West Shore Fishing Museum is inside Bailey Park located approximately 15 miles north of Menominee on M-35; Just follow the shady driveway into the museum grounds on the north end of Bailey Park. They are open now through Labor Day.
